free to enter, report to East End patio gate (by the loading dock.)

Emcee Jenn Schaal from Visit Saint Paul will announce each dog one by one as their human guardian walks, carries, or strolls them down the patio aisle from East to West for people to see from their seats.  

The founder and first brewer of the original Hamm's Brewery were German immigrants. The brewery opened in September, so Oktoberfest is a celebratory occasion here for more than one reason. Enjoy our Fest Bier, our Marzen Style Oktoberfest, Riesling, German food specials, and of course the annual Stein Hold competition and other fun games on the most beautiful patio within the ruins of the Hamm's horse stables.  

The grand opening of the historic Hamm's Brewery buildings on Minnehaha Avenue East in St. Paul, Minnesota, took place on September 27, 1894. The brewery itself traces its underlying roots back to March 1865, when Theodore Hamm acquired the original Excelsior Brewery.
